OUR FOUNDATION:
THE GIVING COLLECTIVE OF THE SOUTH BAY
NOT JUST A SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY – IT’S OUR MISSION.
When we sit down with individuals and clients in the LGBTQ community, we often hear about challenges that many people may simply take for granted. The dream of starting a family. The safety of a loving and stable home. Acceptance and inclusion. Basic human rights. This is unacceptable. And we wanted to do something about it. In 2019, Brandon Matloff and Suneel Garg launched The Giving Collective of the South Bay, a 501(c)(3) non-profit, social justice organization to fuel lasting change within the LGTBQ community in Los Angeles, CA. The Giving Collective is comprised of individuals who have both the heart and resources to create exponential financial impact. Through our collective investment, we amplify the work of organizations already supporting the LGBTQ+ community in the LA area by providing additional funding and resources where they’re needed. Each year, we focus on a topic important to the LGBTQ community and offer grants to further the important missions of regional organizations. It’s not just our social responsibility – it’s our mission.
